Holme Valley Mountain Bike Challenge (13/09/09)

September got underway with the Sandal Castle 10K in aid of Wakefield Hospice. Chris Miller (Harrogate Harriers) was a clear winner in the men’s race, with Julie Briscoe (Wakefield Harriers) 6th overall and first Lady.

The Trunce series drew to an end with Indiana Jones battling the Pope whilst being chased by a group of schoolgirls in the fancy dress finale.

Over 500 keen cyclists signed on for the Holme Valley Mountain Bike Challenge.
