17th July 2011
120 brave souls lined up for the 24th Holme Moss Fell Race. Conditions were typical for the race - strong winds and heavy rain, with a few sunny spells.

As the race gets under way the rain sweeps in.

Simon Harding (Macclesfield Harriers) showed his intentions right from the start, leading all the way to finish with almost 3 minutes to spare over second place runner Steve Cale (Mercia), Richard Pattinson (Pudsey & Bramley) moved his way though the field to take third and first Vet 45. Macclesfield Harriers also took the team prize.
