April
April began with Salford 10K, which saw Mark Buckingham (Holmfirth) notch up another win this year in the Men’s race, with Sonia Samuels (Sale Harriers) taking the Women’s race.
The Pennine 10K was another race that had been rearranged due to January’s snow, not that many complained about the warmer weather on offer. Julian Mawson (Otley AC) and Joanna Seymour (Hallamshire) took this year’s honours.
April ended with the annual Brian Robinson Challenge. Brian Robinson himself was on hand to welcome riders back from a very tough and challenging route, which includes the climb of Holme Moss.
